Wednesday, November 22nd - Interfaith Thanksgiving Service @ 7 pm. This year the service will be held at St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown, PA. Cantor Wartell will be delivering the spiritual message this year!
Friday, December 8th @ 6 pm - Sisterhood Shabbat Service and Dinner. Service is at 6 pm and dinner to follow afterward! Price for dinner is $45/family or $18/single. Please RSVP to the Temple office by Monday, November 27th.
Saturday, December 9th @ 8 pm-A night of storytelling with Israeli born storeyteller, Noa Baum. Join us for a celebration of the Jewish tradition with tales of Chanukah, wonder, magic and faith from Israel & around the world. Admission is $10 per person at the door & includes refreshments. RSVP appreciated by calling the Temple office or you can pay at the door the night of the event.
Friday, December 15th Chanukkah Shabbat & Dinner, the evening starts at 5:30 pm with a hummus nosh, then 6 pm Shabbat service and a delicious dinner to follow afterward. Tour of our Chanucan structures also. Price is $45 per family (over 3 attendees) or $18 single attendee. RSVP by December 1st to the Temple office.
Saturday, December 16th...LIGHT UP THE NIGHT with the L.V. Phantoms Hockey Team. Pre-game menorah lighting..see the giant ice menorah! If you enjoy hockey and love Chanukah then this event if for you. The Temple has ONLY 18 tickets available and they are on the lower level and cost is $20 per ticket. It will be on a first come, first serve basis to call the Temple office ASAP to reserve your seats!
Sunday, December 24th @6 pm - Chinese Dinner & Movies! Join us for family movies, kosher-vegan Chinese food from New Harmony in Philly. There will be board games, poker, popcorn and great company. Please bring a gently used coat or blanket for donation. Wine & beer available at an additional cost!
