Sunday, June 24, 2018...Bus Trip to the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia. Bus leaves TBE parking lot at 8:45 am. Once at the museum we will break off into smaller groups for a led tour from 10:30 am until 12 noon. After the tour, we will have lunch and explore the museum or Independence Mall at your leisure. The bus will leave from Philadelphia back to Allentown at 2:15 pm. You may bring along a snack for the bus ride but NO food may be taken into the museum! The price per person for this trip is $44 and $38 for children UNDER the age of 13 which includes the bus ride & admission to the museum and tour. RSVP for trip by June 8, 2018. Please note that this trip is limited to 55 people as that is how many people the bus can hold! Please call the TBE office to reserve your seats.
Wednesday, July 11, 2018...CPR Training Class with a review of first aid training. Fee is $10 per person. Open to the whole community. RSVP to the Temple by Thursday, July 5, 2018.
Thursday, August 2, 2018....Tour of the Statue of Liberty and Museum of Jewish Heritage. Bus leaves the TBE parking lot at 7 am and will be leaving NYC at 7 pm. Please note that there is a lot of walking involved in this trip. Call the Temple office for all the details!
Wednesday, August 15, 2018....TBE Men's Club & KI Brotherhood present...Take Me Out to the Ball Game Extravaganza!. Enjoy an evening of baseball with the Iron Pigs! Start off with a kosher tailgate party from 5 pm to 6:30 pm (Includes burgers, hotdogs, veggie option and soft drinks..free will donation towards the cost of food is appreciated) Gates open at 7:05 pm for game! One lucky member of our group will get a chance to throw out the first pitch so enter the First Ptich Raffle. A book of 6 tickets is $5.00. Sign up for a chance to participate in on field activities.
