CommUnity Garden

In 2016, Temple Beth El  began a garden to serve our community. In 2020, the garden yielded 1,233 lbs. of produce. Over the past 5 years, that is a total of 4,650 lbs. of food to help feed those in need!

Our garden was developed in conjunction with The Barn of the Lehigh Valley. The Barn's Community Garden is a wonderful ministry that encourages community among Barners, our neighbors, our partners, and among members of other faith groups. Much of the produce grown from these gardens go to Daybreak and the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Special thanks to Myron Levenson for spread heading this endeavor and to all the volunteers who have helped to make our garden grow and prosper! Volunteers are always needed, if you would like to volunteer for our 2021 growing season, please email myronlevenson@gmail.com.
