WELCOME!  Bruchim Habayim!  בְּרוּכִים הַבָּאִים

The Temple Beth El religious school is a place for children to make friends, connect with other Jewish children, and start on a path of lifelong learning. On any school day, students might write and act out their own skits about celebrating Rosh HaShannah, participate in a holiday scavenger hunt, sing songs that teach the names of the books of Torah, and so much more! When I look into classrooms, I see happy students, enjoying Jewish learning.

Students learn modern Hebrew and are introduced to the language starting in Kindergarten. They use their Hebrew skills to read modern Hebrew and to learn prayers. Holiday traditions are introduced and reinforced each year, building on what students learned and adding to their knowledge. Torah stories, Jewish history, and Israel are taught in age appropriate lessons. Jewish values are an important part of the curriculum. Values are included in lessons and even surround children when they play outside: the fenced area is decorated with posters about Jewish values!

I am excited that you are interested in the religious school! I look forward to meeting you and sharing more about the wonderful experiences children have at Temple Beth El.

We are proud to be a Framework for Excellence school. This is the highest award for religious schools from United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
