The Sisterhood of Temple Beth El offers inspirational, educational, social, and entertaining programs throughout the year to enrich your sense of Jewish community, commitment, spirituality, and learning.  A few of our recurring, as well as upcoming, events include:

Enriching Programs                             

• Hiddur Mitzvah Project – Decorate your own piece of Judaica from the Gary Rosenthal Collection.
• Havdalah, Dinner and Trivia Night
• Women’s Seder – A beautiful evening of spiritual community, songs and worship
• Mah Jongg – New faces always welcome!
• Canasta Classes - Learn to play this exciting game with your Sisterhood friends
• Book Club – Read and discuss current topics at member’s homes

Community Service                                       

• Mitzvah Sistah’s – Support and comfort to families in need
• Gift Shop – Our Gift Shop is the only full-service source of Judaica in the Lehigh Valley.  You’ll find a beautiful and impressive selection of Judaica and general gift items for the whole family
• Shabbat Angels – Bringing a little bit of Temple Beth El to those who can’t join us in person
• Soup Kitchen – Providing nutritious food to a local shelter

Fundraising

• Rosh Hashanah Apples and Honey – Send virtual love and good wishes to your TBE family via a special gift package and greeting for a Sweet New Year!
• Flower Sales – Fall and Spring flowers to beautify your home
• High Holiday Challah and Baked Goods Sale – Get your challahs and other holiday treats from a Kosher bakery
